A play on the phrase "halfway between heaven and hell," this fully authorized color reproduction of the original print was printed on quality paper and originally included as a fold-out in a well respected art publication released in 1988. The words "HEAVEN" and "HELL" are written vertically on the left and right sides of the image. These two words hover over heavily drawn blue lines, which highlight the extremes of the two realms. The lines become more sparse towards the center of the sheet, where the words "1/2 WAY" anchor the composition.
This piece has two folds, as issued. It is not hand signed or numbered, these were printed with the image.
