After Andy Warhol

In 1983, Warhol created over 40 works inspired by the classic and sophisticated design of Perrier's sparkling water bottle, including the design for this offset lithograph. Released in 2013 in association with the Andy Warhol Foundation, this print shows a trio of the classic bottles rendered in Warhol’s unmistakable palette and overlaid images. Commissioned in 1982 and completed in 1983, the advertising campaign was coordinated by Langelaan & Cerf of Paris and was awarded the Grand Prix de l’Affiche Française–the French Poster Grand Prix–that same year.
